Juveline Arthritis: Leaky Gut? Case Study

Kristen Sparrow • February 04, 2013

Juvenile arthritisFascinating case study of a young boy diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, treated with conventional medicine and also complementary treatment of supplements and dietary restriction.  Warning, this is a long article.  They discuss gut flora as we have done here as a possible causative factor with antibiotics perhaps playing a role. When I read about these dietary restrictions, I can’t help but think that it’s not the “gluten” itself, but the way we raise wheat now with pesticides, monocultures, and fertilizers.  Who knows?  A very interesting article for anyone suffering from autoimmune illness/rheumatoid arthritis.  And now that even autism may have an autoimmune component, this topic is even more crucial.
