There will be no improvement in jobs and economic activity until we beat this thing. Until infection rates in whatever population decreases to manageable levels, we will be stuck with no “normal” life. From California we cannot visit New York without quarantining anymore.
Though deaths are staying flat, hospitalizations are increasing. In the Bay Area we haven’t yet reached the levels early in the pandemic, but we’re getting there. In the state as a whole, hospitalizations are way up. Above initial levels. Not much to say. We try our best and wear the blessed masks, they are our humble protectors. They are there to serve and protect.
