7 Longevity Lessons from Dr. Howard Tucker (Age 102 and Still Working)

  • Don’t retire – He says retirement is the “enemy of longevity.” Keep working or stay engaged with purpose.

  • Stay mentally active – He got a law degree at 67. Keep learning, stay curious.

  • Move daily – He walks, uses a treadmill, and even snowshoes.

  • Eat simple, whole foods – Fish, vegetables, fresh fruit, and a glass of milk.

  • Avoid bad habits – Never smoked. Drinks alcohol in moderation (an occasional martini).

  • Stay social – Married 70+ years, active family life, strong relationships.

  • Keep perspective – Accept mortality. He lives fully without obsessing over death.
