7 Longevity Habits that are FREE!

This is from Super Age, a blog dedicated to longevity.
These tips are not really longevity science per se, but good to keep in mind. Some are easier than others, but here is the list. It cracks me up that the opening scene is someone sipping tea in a tropical paradise. That is probably not a “free” habit.
- Keep a regular daily rhythm. Get morning daylight and keep sleep, wake, and meal times reasonably consistent.
- Spread protein across meals. Include some at breakfast and lunch instead of eating most of it at dinner.
- Walk shortly after eating. Even a brief walk can help reduce the post-meal rise in blood sugar.
- Walk briskly when you can. Pace matters alongside step count.
- Practice balance. Try standing on one leg for 10 seconds at a time, with support nearby if needed.
- Maintain grip strength. Carries, hangs, and other strength exercises can help preserve it.
- Invest in relationships. Make time for friends, family, and everyday social contact.
